These terms explain the rules for using TipTop-10’s rankings site, what you may do, what we provide, and the limits that apply to our editorial content and affiliate links.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Key points
Using TipTop-10 means you agree to these terms and our related legal pages.
Content is for informational use. Rankings are editorial opinions, not paid placements.
Affiliate links may earn commissions. Review our Disclaimer for reliance limits.
Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TipTop-10, including our website, ranked guides, category pages, and related materials that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, “you” includes the organization. If you do not have that authority, you may use the Site only in a personal capacity and not on the organization’s behalf.
TipTop-10 publishes editorial rankings and comparisons covering technology products, artificial intelligence tools, business software, and lifestyle categories. The Site is offered for informational purposes. Nothing on the Site creates a professional advisory relationship. Additional limitations appear in our Disclaimer and in the sections below.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to accept these Terms. If you are under that age, you may use the Site only with involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf, to the extent local law allows.
We may refuse access to the Site, remove content, or restrict features at our discretion when we believe these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others are at risk. Continued use after we post updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
What TipTop-10 provides
TipTop-10 provides ranked lists, buying guides, explainers, and related editorial content intended to help readers compare options in tech hardware, AI tools, business software, and lifestyle products. Our rankings reflect editorial judgment based on criteria we describe in individual guides or methodology notes. We do not sell ranked placements. Brands cannot pay TipTop-10 to secure a higher position on a list.
The Site may include outbound links to merchants, software vendors, app marketplaces, documentation, and other third-party resources. Some links are affiliate links, which means TipTop-10 may earn a commission if you click and later complete a qualifying action. Affiliate relationships help fund independent editorial work. They do not mean we endorse every statement on a destination site, and they do not convert our rankings into advertisements for sale.
Content on the Site can become outdated as products change price, features, availability, and terms of service. We update guides when we reasonably can, but we do not promise continuous real-time accuracy. Always verify critical details, especially pricing, compatibility, security claims, and contract terms, directly with the vendor before you buy or deploy software.
TipTop-10 may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site without notice, including specific guides, categories, or features. We are not obligated to maintain archives of every prior version of a ranking, though we may do so for editorial reasons.
Limited license to use the Site
Subject to these Terms, TipTop-10 grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial informational purposes, or for internal business research that does not involve republishing our rankings as your own product. This license does not include any right to resell Site content, scrape the Site at scale, or use our materials to build a competing rankings database that copies our expressive selection, ordering, and commentary.
You may view pages, share links to public URLs, and quote short excerpts with proper attribution and a link back to the original TipTop-10 page when the quotation is fair and lawful. “Short excerpts” means brief quotations appropriate for commentary, criticism, or education, not wholesale reproduction of a guide, table, or ranked list.
You may not frame the Site within another website in a way that misrepresents affiliation, remove proprietary notices, reverse engineer any non-public technical systems except where mandatory law permits, or use automated means to access the Site in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load or circumvents access controls.
Any use beyond this limited license requires our prior written permission. To request permission for syndication, licensing, or educational reuse beyond fair quotation, contact us through the Contact page and describe the intended use.
We may revoke this license at any time if you violate these Terms or if continued access would harm TipTop-10, our readers, or third parties. Upon revocation, you must stop using the Site and delete copies of Site materials you are not otherwise entitled to keep under mandatory law.
Intellectual property rights
The Site and its contents, including text, rankings structure, selection and arrangement of materials, graphics, logos, page layouts, and original commentary, are owned by TipTop-10 or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. TipTop-10 names, logos, and brand elements may not be used without permission in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation that does not exist.
Product names, logos, and trademarks mentioned in our guides belong to their respective owners. Appearance of a brand name on TipTop-10 does not imply that the brand sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with TipTop-10, except where we expressly say so. Mentions occur for identification and commentary in editorial rankings.
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a notice through our Contact page with: a description of the work; the URL where the allegedly infringing material appears; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; a statement that the information in the notice is accurate; and a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are authorized to act for the owner. We will review complete notices and take appropriate action.
Feedback you provide about the Site may be used by TipTop-10 to improve our products and services without obligation to compensate you, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Do not submit feedback that you do not have the right to share.
Prohibited uses of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site. Without limiting that general rule, you must not:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right while using the Site.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to servers, accounts, systems, or data connected with TipTop-10.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by launching malware, denial-of-service attacks, or abusive automated traffic.
- Scrape, harvest, or index the Site with bots in a volume or manner that impairs service, bypasses technical limits, or copies substantial portions of our rankings for republication without permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting TipTop-10 or when interacting with features we may offer.
- Use TipTop-10 content to create deceptive advertisements, fake review sites, or materials that falsely claim our endorsement.
- Post or transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing material through any contact or submission channel.
- Collect personal information of other readers from the Site, if such information ever becomes visible, for spam or exploitation.
- Use the Site to develop or train machine-learning models by bulk copying our guides where that activity conflicts with these Terms or applicable law, except to the limited extent mandatory law prevents contractual restriction.
We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement when appropriate. Violations may result in suspension of access, deletion of submissions, and pursuit of legal remedies.
If you operate a search engine or similar public indexing service, reasonable crawling of publicly available pages for search indexing is generally acceptable if it respects standard robots directives and does not degrade Site performance. Bulk copying of expressive rankings for a competing commercial product is not acceptable under these Terms.
Messages, feedback, and other submissions
If you send us emails, contact-form messages, correction requests, tip-offs, or other materials (“Submissions”), you grant TipTop-10 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display the Submission as needed to operate the Site, respond to you, investigate claims, improve our editorial work, and meet legal obligations. This license continues for as long as we retain the Submission under our retention practices.
You represent that your Submissions are accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the rights needed to send them, and that they do not violate law or third-party rights. You agree not to submit confidential information belonging to others without authorization, and not to submit malicious code.
We do not promise to publish, respond to, or act on every Submission. Editorial decisions, including whether to update a ranking after a brand complaint, are made independently. Sending a Submission does not create a partnership, joint venture, or paid placement arrangement.
If you submit personally identifiable information, our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it. Do not include payment card numbers, government identifiers, or sensitive health data in ordinary Submissions.
Brand representatives who submit product information should understand that TipTop-10 may verify claims independently. Providing information does not entitle a brand to a particular rank. Attempts to trade payment for ranking placement conflict with our editorial model and these Terms.
Affiliate links and commercial relationships
TipTop-10 may earn commissions through affiliate marketing programs when you click certain links and later purchase products, start trials, or complete other qualifying actions. We disclose this practice because transparency helps readers understand how the Site is funded. Affiliate relationships do not mean rankings are for sale.
When you follow an outbound link, you leave TipTop-10 and become subject to the destination site’s terms, privacy policy, pricing, and customer-support practices. TipTop-10 is not a party to your transaction with the merchant unless we expressly say otherwise in a separate agreement. Product warranties, refunds, subscription renewals, and data processing by the vendor are between you and that vendor.
Commission rates and program rules are set by networks and merchants and can change. TipTop-10 does not guarantee that every link is an affiliate link, or that every affiliate link will generate a commission. Whether a commission is tracked can depend on cookies, browser settings, and the merchant’s attribution rules.
For more detail on how rankings and affiliate relationships interact, and why you should verify pricing and claims yourself, read our Disclaimer. For how affiliate measurement may involve cookies and related data, read our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TIPTOP-10 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the above, TipTop-10 does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; that rankings are complete or current; that product descriptions, prices, or availability are accurate; or that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components. We make reasonable efforts to keep information useful, but technology and markets change quickly.
Editorial rankings are opinions, not guarantees of performance, safety, ROI, or suitability for your circumstances. Content is not medical, legal, tax, accounting, investment, or other professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions that require specialized advice.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers. In those jurisdictions, the disclaimers apply to the fullest extent permitted, and any non-disclaimable warranties are limited to the minimum scope and duration required by law.
Third-party sites linked from TipTop-10 are outside our control. We do not warrant their content, security, or practices. Clicking external links is at your own risk. Our Disclaimer page expands on these points for readers who rely on rankings when shopping or selecting software.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TIPTOP-10 AND ITS OWNERS, EDITORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TIPTOP-10 DIRECTLY FOR ACCESS TO THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (OR LOCAL CURRENCY EQUIVALENT). BECAUSE MUCH OF THE SITE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT CHARGE, THIS CAP IS INTENDED TO REFLECT THE INFORMATIONAL NATURE OF THE SERVICE.
The limitations above apply to claims based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory. They apply whether or not TipTop-10 has been advised of potential damages, and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages, including personal injury caused by negligence or statutory rights that cannot be waived. In those cases, TipTop-10’s liability is limited only to the extent the law requires. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You agree that any cause of action related to the Site must be filed within the time period required by applicable law, and you should not delay in reviewing content that matters to a pending purchase or deployment decision.
Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TipTop-10 and its owners, editors, contributors, contractors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: your misuse of the Site; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law or third-party right; your Submissions; or your use of information from the Site to make decisions that cause harm to you or others, except to the extent caused by TipTop-10’s willful misconduct where such indemnification would be unenforceable.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. In that case, you agree to cooperate with our defense. You may not settle any claim in a manner that imposes obligation on TipTop-10 without our prior written consent.
This indemnification obligation survives termination of your use of the Site and termination of these Terms. It is not intended to require indemnification where prohibited by consumer-protection laws that restrict such clauses for individuals.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Site at any time. TipTop-10 may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Site, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, if we discontinue the Site, if we face legal or security risk, or if continued access would be impractical.
Upon termination, the license granted to you ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, governing law, severability, and provisions related to Submissions already received, will continue to apply.
Termination does not limit remedies available to TipTop-10 for violations that occurred before termination. If access is restored later, these Terms (as updated) will again govern your use.
If we remove a specific guide or feature, that removal alone is not a termination of these Terms for the remainder of the Site. You may continue to use other available pages subject to the same rules.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another jurisdiction’s laws, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in your place of residence provide otherwise.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first through the Contact page so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Many concerns about rankings accuracy, affiliate disclosures, or content corrections can be addressed through editorial review without formal proceedings.
If informal resolution is not successful, disputes will be resolved in the courts or tribunals that have jurisdiction under applicable law, unless a mandatory arbitration or consumer dispute scheme applies in your location and you elect or are required to use it. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under local law.
If you are a consumer, you may be entitled to bring proceedings in your country of residence. If you are using the Site for a business purpose, you agree that TipTop-10 may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any appropriate forum to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other competent authority, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and any additional terms expressly presented for a specific feature, constitute the entire agreement between you and TipTop-10 regarding the Site and supersede prior or contemporaneous communications on the same subject, whether electronic, oral, or written.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Words such as “including” mean “including without limitation.” References to “pages” include equivalent Site surfaces that present the same legal content.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Site, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do, we will revise the date shown on this page. For material changes, we may also provide an additional notice on the Site.
If you continue to use the Site after updated Terms take effect, you accept the changes to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Site. If a change requires affirmative consent under applicable law for a particular feature, we will seek that consent before the change applies to that feature.
We may also update related documents such as the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. You should review those pages periodically, especially before relying on a ranking for a significant purchase or software deployment. Our About page provides non-legal context about how TipTop-10 approaches editorial work.
Historic versions of these Terms may not remain publicly posted. If you need a copy of Terms that applied on a specific date for a legitimate reason, contact us and we will try to assist where reasonably practicable.
Contacting TipTop-10 about these Terms
